BANKRUPTCY

1.       Dirk von Guenthner has done bankruptcy work on behalf of a debtor in possession. The case was an airline called Air Hawaii. The case started with the records left from the company when it went into Chapter 11 and included the massive project of preparing the Statement of Financial Affairs and a budget and projections for getting the airline off the ground.

2.       Additional experience was gained in providing services to two London Casinos who were creditors in the Sukamto Sia bankruptcy. The case included the analysis of documents to prove that the bankrupt party committed fraud in not having sufficient funds in his account to honor checks issued to the casinos.

3.       Although Dirk has background and understanding in bankruptcy cases, it is not the type of case that his firm normally takes.
